Jon Airey (19 wickets) was the club’s top wicket-taker while Steve Stammers (458 runs) was top run scorer.
Willingale’s Sunday side enjoyed a good season in 2019, winning five matches from ten.
In the big news of the off-season, the club announced local village legend Paul Dawson had agreed to not only join the club but skipper both Saturday and Sunday sides. Welcome to the club Daws. Jon Read will take on the role of vice-captain.

We are actively recruiting new adult and junior players for both Saturday League cricket and for Sunday friendly matches. If fellow villagers are keen to join please contact Steve Stammers on firstname.lastname@example.org – we’d love nothing more than for more locals to represent this cricket club.
More importantly, villagers are always welcome to spend an afternoon watching the Saturday or Saturday team during the summer at The Glebe – at a social distance, of course! Cash and card payments accepted at the bar.
