Willingale Village Hall
Nestling in the heart of the charming village of Willingale, in the rural Essex countryside, is our beautiful Village Hall. Built in 1938, extended and refurbished in 2016 the hall is central to village life. It is used for a wide variety of events from Parish Council meetings and bustling community tea mornings to badminton groups, and bespoke weddings for over 100 people.
Willingale is immensely proud of its village hall which is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers and maintenance contractors. It is carefully maintained to a high standard. A well-organised community space which is family-friendly and accessible to all, including wheelchair users.
The Village Hall comprises a large and high-ceilinged Main Hall and a smaller more intimate community space, called the Cleminson Room, with a kitchen attached. These spaces can be hired together or independently. The main hall has an over-counter bar and stage. The Cleminson Room is ideal for smaller occasions with groups of tables and chairs. It also has access to an outside terrace overlooking the country fields.
Thanks to an engaging and active community the hall is used throughout the week. We nevertheless have space here and there for new regular hires, ad hoc bookings such as large events and parties. For further information click here. To check availability or Book the Hall Click here.
